This handcrafted sun catcher—a radiant crystal dragonfly cradled by delicate angel wings—symbolizes the unbreakable power of hope, friendship, and community.

May we all be gifted the presence of at least one Earth Angel in our lifetimes – and how blessed we are when they choose us to walk beside them on a part of their life journey. How lucky we are when they become a dear friend, a chosen family member, and a giver of light into our world.

Teresa Bolinski is just that… a very special Earth Angel to all who know her. We often wonder how such a big, beautiful heart can fit into such a tiny frame but to be in her presence is to know how powerful love and friendship can feel.

Teresa has been one of our closest Angels in the Circle as a volunteer, ambassador, and dear friend. She’s used her many creative and professional talents over the years to help design, craft, and even photograph items in the Circle of Angels Collection. She’s also walked beside Kristen for nearly a decade and has been lovingly referred to as her “Soul Sister” since they first met.

Her less-known story has been her courageous battle with chronic liver disease. It’s one that she’s fought since childhood, yet her outlook on life and perpetual commitment to loving and supporting others shielded most people from truly ever knowing how hard her own personal battle has been. As her journey has become more complicated by the year, she’s now come to a fork in the road where a liver transplant is required, and she has been gifted – by one of her own Earth Angels – the most incredible gift of hope… and life. Through nothing short of miracles and magic, a donor has stepped forward for Teresa, and it just so happened to be a dear friend of hers… Karey.

Inspired by Teresa’s journey and the ultimate gift of friendship that she’ll be receiving, this sun catcher is a reminder that hope can carry us through the hardest days. This Friendship Dragonfly is made with sparkling jewel-toned crystals (in Teresa’s favourite colours) and the crystal dew drop that dangles beneath it symbolizes the hope that friends carry for us when our own wings become too tired to carry it on our own. The shimmering white wings that surround the dragonfly are symbolic of community… that is, our friends, family, and supporters that help to create a loving space of shelter, peace, and comfort in our greatest times of need.

With proceeds benefiting Liver Canada, this sun catcher spreads awareness about liver disease and the life-changing gift of living organ donation.

Hang it in your window as a tribute to resilience, friendship, and the power of “Livin’ on Love”. This is a very limited edition design and each one will be made by Teresa and Karey, with a little help from their family and close friends. While there’s a long journey of healing ahead, we have faith that their path will be paved with love, light, and the kind of hope that only friendship can provide.
