This very Limited Special Edition Angel has been commissioned for The Nate's Heart Month Fundraising Campaign, running through the month of February 2022. It is all in support of Pediatric Cardiology at The Stollery Children's Hospital.
This unique 2-piece angel design from A Circle of Angels include a cut-out heart framed clear Swarovski crystal angel that has the tiniest little heart dangle charm. It also comes with the actual heart centre with the engraving "All you need is Heart" and is ready to go as a keychain or other special keepsake. Keep both pieces and use as sun catchers or other ornamental uses - or keep one half and give the other away to pay forward some extra love and kindness. It's entirely up to you! Why Pediatric Cardiology? Over the past year, our friend (Kirsten's) family endured an unforeseen and traumatic experience that tested their strength as parents. Their son, Nate, was diagnosed at three weeks old with Congenital Heart Disease. Nate was born with a large hole in his lower part of his heart and another hole in the top part of his heart causing symptoms of heart failure. At four months old, Nate had open heart surgery to close both holes. His surgery was successful and they are now are enjoying a happy, healthy, thriving ten month old.
As a family they feel motivated to make a difference by paying forward a little kindness to the hospital that helped them through such a difficult time. And we, of course - as a loving and supportive community of Earth Angels here in the Circle want to support them in doing so.
February is Congenital Heart Disease Awareness month and also happens to be Nate's 6th month post open heart surgery. Nate's family's goal is to raise funds that will directly impact patients, medical care teams and the families who make up the Pediatric Cardiology unit at the Stollery Children's Hospital. Local Edmonton and area pick up is available (and encouraged) to enable as many dollars as possible can go to this charitable cause vs. unnecessary shipping fees.
